Sports

For my bill, why am I paying a regional sports fee for $12.25/mth and $9.99 per month for the more sports and entertainment package and Bally Sports North is not included.  All that Bally Sports North has is regional sports!

Do you get any other channels that have specific NBA / NHL / MLB teams on them? I don't mean something like ESPN or TBS that has different teams.

Hey there, Pheasants21, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding those sports fees! The RSN Fee is an itemized charge on your bill based on our costs of providing the regional sports networks we carry on our cable systems in each area. These costs include the fees that RSNs charge us to carry them on our cable systems, fees that are among the fastest growing components of our programming costs. The RSN Fee isn't a government-imposed or mandated fee and increases from time to time. These are fees associated with local sports. Does this help to clarify?

No.  This doesn’t help.

Which regional sports channels are you providing for us?

The main regional sports channel that we would watch is Bally Sports North so that we can watch the Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Twins.

You can stop any other regional sports channels that you are providing for us and remove the $12.25 per month regional fee.

Then, possibly we can afford to pay for your Ultimate TV package, and then get to have Bally Sports North, which we previously had in our current package, or had previously as part of the regional sports offering, and then we can watch the Minnesota Wild.

We hate being [Edited: Language] around with our channel offering.  The customer continues to get [Edited: Language] and has to pay more money.

There is no reason that a 55 yr and 60 yr old couple should have to pay almost $200 per month for TV and Internet.

Here is a link with the fee details, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/most-common-taxes-fees-surcharges-on-your-bill. I know how important it is to have a bill within your budget as I am the same way with my monthly bills.

I would be happy to go over the billing in more detail. If you can please send us a Direct Message with your full name and your full address.
