Sound issues abc sports

When watching football on ABC the crowd noise is so loud you cannot hear the announcers. After talking with ABC they said it is the cable company. Can this be fix? It happens every weekend.

Hey @user_c2f63e thank you for reaching out to our forums in regards to this concern? Are you only having this issue through live sports and with the crowd noise in the background?

@user_c2f63e, I watch a ton of college football and do like to hear the announcers, so I can see how this would be pretty frustrating to deal with. At the very least it's distracting when you're trying to kick back and enjoy the game. Have you been able to test other ABC channels, like the SD/HD version to see if the issue is present there as well? Also, do you have any audio or other devices connected in between your cable box and TV?

Also happens on General Hospital. Maybe others, but that's all the ABC I watch. Waiting hopefully for an answer.

@wilsonparry Hey there! Is the sound issue with General Hospital just the volume being loud? I ask because the issue with the topic at hand is about crowd noise.

I have noticed this when streaming ABC football games. Can't hear announcers over background crowd noise. Been going on since football started.

I would like to get a ticket opened on the backend to have the channel feed investigated further. I also recommend attempting these steps to see if it helps resolve the background noise being too loud: Audio Troubleshooting
