sound dropouts on NBC Chicago

Channel 188 random short sound drops randomly for at least a week..anyone else notice this?

Xfinity. Sort this out! It’s simple…You provide a service and I pay for that service. I’m holding up my end of the deal and you’re clearly not and on top of that you’re clearly not listening to your customers. Trying to watch Sunday Night Football on Channel 188 in Darien and the sound is cutting out constantly. You lot should be embarrassed for treating paying customers this way when there’s hundreds of us customers telling you there’s a problem.

Ok downloaded xfinity stream app on my tv and started watching football game. The sound has not dropped out once. So the issue is coming thru are cable boxes! It’s definitely an issue on Xfinity side

But note that if you have  Peacock Premium Plus you get the NBC channel live and it does not have the problem even if you are running the app on the same X1 box that does have the issue with the cable channel.  It has to be where they insert the local NBC channel for the Chicago area into the cable system.

I agree with what your saying it’s just pretty sad you pay all this money for cable and it seems they really don’t care about the issue

I'm also getting the sound drop outs on Channel 188 (Will County, IL).  This is happening on both my box and when I stream channel 188 on the Xfinity streaming app.  I don't have similar issues when I stream NBC directly through Roku.

When will this issue be fixed?  It has been happening on 188 for several weeks and VERY NOTICEABLE during all the football games being broadcast on this channel.  This is completely unacceptable as there has been no fix to this issue which many others have also reported.

Oct 15 - I am having issues with NBC on both TV and streaming device.  Audio goes out and picture pixalates. Wheaton area

There are soooo many of posting issues and NO ONE has heard from Xfinity on either acknowledging or fixing this issue. IMO they don’t care bc we are all paying customers. Had them last night during the football game which I changed the channel to watch baseball on FOX.  It is live things on all NBC channels not just 188, FYI.
