sound dropouts on NBC Chicago

Channel 188 random short sound drops randomly for at least a week..anyone else notice this?

Hello

Yes, my channel 188 drops sound on live sports also lost channel completely last night watching Notre dame game for approx 10 minutes. Watched SNL after game never lost sound. Lost sound on Sunday night football last week. I live in Lake county Indiana, I am not the only one losing sound in my area. My other tv in other room that we stream and use a fire stick did not lose sound. Tried Xfinity refresh on box did not work.

Arlington Heights... same problem with sound dropping on NBC only. Comcast: fix it. Obviously on your end!  Not dropping with commercials normal programs.

Sound has Ben dropping on 188 in Logan Square in Chicago. Reading these posts no need to check my connections. Clearly Xfinity [Edited: "Language"] or this would be fixed.

Same issues here in Lemont.  Channel 188 only.  Was terrible last night during Notre Dame vs USC and is worse today.  Tried on the stream app along with my X1 box and both have issues.  My neighbor called me and asked if I was having issues as he is as well.  Very frustrating.

Oh, no @cudwt, we're sorry to hear that you were also experiencing this issue. Are you only experiencing issues with Channel 188 or are other channels also affected? Is the issue still occurring?

Same here. Lincoln Square. This an Xfinity affiliated channel…..
SMH. Absolutely ridiculous this has an issues for at least 4 months and not fixed. C’mon man. 

Looking like it is time to cancel my Xfinity Service…..

Wow.... Xfinity must be clueless and not monitor this thread.  About the only thing that has happened since I posted this issue was receive a ton of emails every time someone posts to this thread.  

Was watching Fox all afternoon.  Turn over to NBC...to check football score.  Sound goes out 3 times in less than a minute.... unbelievable....

For over $200 per month I would expect better service... Wake up Xfinity!!!!

Same Problem here in Lake County!  Fix the issues instead of telling people to reset their boxes...clearly a NBC 188 XFINITY PROBLEM
