Smithsonian channel
We are new Comcast customers as of yesterday, had our 200+ HD package installed today however before we switched yesterday I made sure to confirm with our agent who also confirmed with his supervisor that we would have the Smothsonian Channel....searches for it today and we don’t have it. I am extremely frustrated and already disappointed with Comcast here in Knoxville TN! This is not acceptable

Here in Atlanta area, I have tv package "Preffered 200+", and my Smithsonian channel is only offered "On Demand".

In the Chicago area, I have an old 'grandfathered' Preferred, and do get the linear Smithsonian channel, but in SD only.

If you can get "You Tube" on your current television (or streaming video player), you and search and find the channel there in Blue Ray quality. It is "Free" and not worth the hassel with Comcast under current COVID-19 conditions.

I had it one day, gone the next. I can get it only on Demand. I love that channel. I called Comcast and they said they were in negotians with the Smithsonian people. Who knows....
