Smart resume not working since I exchanged my old Xfinity modem

a very common and long srtanding issue that comcast acknowledges, but refuses to address

for me , I just go into settings and turn the feature off, its more of a hinderance than a help if it's off by 20-40 seconds each time, just do it the old fashioned way

weirdly, anything that is off the cloud, like xfinity stream or the wireless 4K box (Xi6) ... the feature does function perfectly,

so my theory is that all recordings will eventually be only cloud based so they aren't going to fix this issue
