SD vs. HD movie channels
I've only been an Xfinity customer for a few months and I've been primarily happy. However, I've noticed that there are far more standard-def movies channels than high-def. For the record, I have the Xfinity Triple Play 220+ channels w/HBO. There are two or three HBO options in SD but only one (if you don't count the Spanish channel) in HD. I think the same applies to Showtime and possibly Starz but I'd have to look at the channel guide to be certain of those.
Shouldn't it be the other way around? Who still watches any in SD?

I just started my service with Xfinity, and am disappointed that all but one of HBO's channels are in SD. Crazy!!

Comcast has a limited amount of band-width for linear cable channels.
The current situation there will not improve. It is the main reason providers are moving to "Steaming video" over the Internet.
