Scripps channels gone

Since April 1, Scripps channels have been pulled.  This is quite unacceptable.  In my city, SLC, UT., the Fox 13 local channel is the only local channel that airs local news when I’m getting ready for work and the local channel airs the best shows at the end of the day as well.   It is unacceptable that Comcast’s/Xfinity has discontinued these channels and I will change carriers if these channels are not reinstated.  This is not the first time there has been a temporary halt.  Do better comcast!    We pay a lot for your service, make it worthwhile!

I read this article online that listed NHL games broadcasts for 5 teams are the sticking point. I don't even like/watch hockey.

@eggalegga​ The NHL Predators don't air on Scripps yet.  They air on Fan Duel(Balley) which Comcast pulled off air two years ago after fighting over fees. Eventually put it back on a higher priced tire.Now Fan Duel is closing at end of NBA season. The Preds will be on Scripps next season but why pull it now?

I'm in the Salt Lake City market. This is ridiculous. We pay a local broadcast fee but yet Comcast doesn't deliver. This goes for Fox13, along with their sister station Utah 16, that Comcast has refused to include from day 1. Please get BOTH of these stations back on the air. These are both Script channels.

Like most of the comments say I pay way too much money for Xfinity not to have a local channel. [Edited: "Language"]. It’s a local channel. I can get it for free through antenna so not to have you guys let me watch. It is outrageous. And what’s crazy I pay a lot of money just to have crappy channels with the reruns that have been playing since the 80s or later even if you buy the movie channels, all it is is reruns Xfinity do better

I am very upset over this. The one channel among many unless channels that I like to watch. No word from Xfinity! Yet we are still paying outrageous prices! I am looking for another company & will be returning my equipment before the end of the week!

C'mon everyone . . this should be about your CUSTOMERS, not the money.   Channel 7 and Scripps will lose viewership over this one, especially the longer it takes to resolve.  Viewers move on to other channels or subscribe to streaming to see their favorite shows.   Get this done !!

Overpriced xfinity which is a total rip off to start with now having blackouts on one of the hand full of channels I actually watch. Starting to wonder what [Edited: "Profanity"] I am paying for. They are so greedy they compromise our experience to fight over money. Dig into your deep pockets from ripping us off and pay the [Edited: "Profanity"] contract. Figure it out I am ready to cut ties with comcast. It has been over 20 years of paying way too much. Not to mention you cannot even get a live person for customer support. Running through automated menus to nowhere land... it is faster to just get in my car and drive to a store. Ridiculous!

I waited on hold and finally got a human on the phone by saying I wanted to change my service, however it proved to be a waste of my time as they were completely unhelpful, offering no method to file a complaint or escalate my frustrations, nor would they give me any address or email address to which I could voice my concerns in written form.   All the customer service rep did was blame the board of directors of Comcast, said there was nothing that could be done and blamed Scripps as well.   Super frustrating.

I watch this station a lot don't no why you not airing it.  We pay a lot of money for your cable.  Might be looking for someone else for tv.
