Ridiculous...

Absolutely ridiculous.  Xfinity could of left the channel on and continued negotiations with Disney.  Dragging your customers into your dispute, only to eventually agree to terms, which ends up costing us more money, is even more ridiculous.  Some of us follow the NFL year round, it's about to be switch time....

Hello @user_y6r71l and thanks for sharing your thoughts with us here on the Xfinity Community forums.

I can understand why you feel that way, especially with football season approaching and the NFL Network being important to how you follow the game year-round. Changes like this can be incredibly frustrating when they affect programming you regularly watch.

Our teams continue to work toward reaching a new agreement. Unfortunately, channels can only be carried when there is an active distribution agreement in place between both parties.

Without that agreement, we aren't able to continue broadcasting the channel while negotiations are ongoing.  Doing so without permission would violate communications regulations.

We know that's not the outcome customers want, and we appreciate you sharing how this impacts your viewing experience. We remain committed to working toward a resolution and will share updates as they become available.
