Peacock black screen with 3 dots

I log into Peacock and it looks like all is going through but, I end up with just a black screen.

I have a cable box.  My TV is not a Smart TV.  Does that have anything to do with it?  If not, how do I fix?

HI, @user_511aec. Thanks for reaching out about your Peacock issues. We can defintly help with a solution so you can enjoy Peacock! You are saying you are launching it from the X1 box and it won't load? Can you tell me the model you have?(sticker) . Are you able to use the Peacock app on other devices? You do not need a smart TV as the app can work from the X1 box.

There are several numbers on the sticker.

Could the model number be XG2v2-S?

Yes, Peacock works on my IPhone.

Here are detailed steps to direct message us:  

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary 

 • Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon (upper right corner of this page) 

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 

 • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list 

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 

 • Press Enter to send your message
