Paramount Plus is included in my Xfinity account but will not allow me to login without signing up.

Paramount Plus doesn't list Xfinity as a partner when attempting to login through the app from the TV box.  The only way to access is to pay an additional monthly subscription even though my bill says it is already included! No way to contact Xfinity for help.

Hi there, lgc1601! We appreciate you taking the time out of your weekend to post on our XFINITY Community Forum. As an avid movie watcher myself, I understand the importance of having access to a large variety of your favorite shows/movies. When it comes to Paramount Plus, the app itself would be a separate subscription from the Paramount channel due to being a standalone streaming service, while our Paramount channel is the traditional broadcast channel.
I would be more than happy to review your current subscriptions to check further into this matter for you. Please send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account. I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.

I have the same issue.  When i contacted the help group, all i got for 30 minutes was an answer of "i can only stream" and I have no idea what that means.

Hello, @user_lard0g If you sign up for Paramount+ through your Xfinity X1 or Xfinity Flex TV Box, you’ll be billed by Xfinity and you can manage your Paramount+ subscription plan through your TV Box! This includes viewing, upgrading, downgrading or canceling your subscription.

If you’re an existing Paramount+ customer, you’ll be billed by Paramount and can use your existing credentials to log in on X1 or Flex. However, you’ll need to visit the Paramount website to manage your subscription. I'm afraid at the moment you cannot look us up on their website as a provider.

@XfinityNatalie then please tell us all why our Xfinity bill lists it as “showtime with paramount+” specifically included.  That little plus, you see, is the app, with all the extra streaming services that we all pay for separately.  Which is why we are asking the question.  Xfinity is ripping us off as usual.

Hello there user_x08cat thank you so much for adding your voice to the conversation here on the Forums!  The subscription to Showtime with Paramount+ and Paramount+ are separate, and this is based on eligibility rules set up by the network provider. For instance, you can pay $16.99 for HBOMax through Xfinity, and have both channel access on X1 and the Xfinity App, and login with your Xfinity ID on the HBOMax App.

You’re absolutely right Xfinity is actually charging us for a lot of services that we don’t even have access to not only Paramount+ been trying to resolve this for months.

Hey there, @user_6z2jdq, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding your Paramount+ with Showtime subscription. Showtime changed its name to "Paramount+ with Showtime." This is the same Showtime content you know and love, just under a new name. This subscription does not include Paramount+. You would need to subscribe to Paramount+ separately. Keep in mind, with your current subscription, you will still have access to all the "Paramount+ with Showtime" on-demand content. Here is a link to their website with more information on the channel, https://www.paramountpluswithshowtime.com/.

Signed up for paramount plus thru Xfinity but can’t watch Tulsa King. After days on phone with Xfinity I called Paramount thru their suggestion and found out there are shows on Paramount not included with Xfinity but Xfinity won’t tell us. Sounds like misrepresentation here

Total misrepresentation!  Other tv providers allow logging in with their acct to the paramount+ app, Xfinity is the only one who doesn’t. But they charge us for what showtime is bundling now with paramount+ but don’t actually provide the + content or linking Accts with the app because they don’t want to pay showtime for that, despite collecting the money from us.  If we aren’t getting what they are bundling then Xfinity needs not charge us for it.  Just take it off the plan because I have a separate paramount+ acct as alot of us probably do.  [Edited: Solicitation]

Yes. Xfinity needs to quit misinforming us. They told me to call Paramount to find out why some services are not available. Paramount told me that Xfinity knows but doesn’t want to share this info with their customers. Definitely class action but the compensation will never be enough for all the wasted time time calling them
