Overcharging

I have been with Xfinity for over 12 years. The last two years has been so terrible by far so I decided to cut off my cable September 11 so My monthly bill goes from August 9 to September 9. I cut the cable off September 11. There’s no way I should have to pay for a whole month bill that I didn’t even use. Xfinity is overrated and overcharging.

Hi there, @user_d95551. Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum. We do charge a month in advance, and when you change/remove or disconnect service, we do prorate the account for the due credit, so you're not paying for services you didn't use. The online billing is not in real time, so you would not see this reflected until your next billing cycle processes. Have you seen a new bill without the changes shown?

@XfinityFrank yes, I have received the bill and it’s $439. I cannot afford that that’s why I cut the cable off in the beginning and I already paid the past due amount so I’m trying to figure out why my payment does due October 1 it’s $439. If that’s for the month of September I don’t have cable the whole month of September.

@user_d95551, Click "Sign In" (If necessary). Click the "Direct Messaging" Icon. Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the “To:” line, type "Xfinity Support". As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window. Press Enter to send it. How to: Direct Message Within The Forum.
