NFL Networks

As it is the off season, I just realized Xfinity ended its contract with the NFL Networks. One of the few reasons I have stayed with Xfinity rather than moving to cheaper solutions is the sports coverage. I pay just under $350 per month to Xfinity, I think that is an outrageous price, but I was willing to pay it for the channels and service I received. If these networks are not brought back by the beginning of the regular season, I will  be exploring canceling my service and moving to a less expensive provider who does carry them.

I had to pay extra in order to get the NFL Channel when I signed up.  When I called to complain that it is not available, I was told that I wasn't paying extra for it, that it was just part of a larger package.  I call [Edited: "Inappropriate Language"].  You stopped providing a channel that I was paying extra for as part of a package that I specifically agreed to because it had the NFL Channel and the Red Zone.  At a MINIMUM, I expect a refund for the missing months and a drop in the price going forward.  While the Red Zone may be the major attraction for some viewers, I also like to see ALL the pre-season games which start in a couple weeks.   Between that and the Voice inclusion for a landline that I can do without, you are forcing me to consider cutting the cable.

Hey @user_o8bgom , Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to reach out regarding the NFL Network. Comcast pays networks and station owners for the ability to deliver their programming to Comcast customers. Agreements are negotiated to bring customers the best value for the content they want. For more information, see xfinity.com/howitworks

I miss NFL Network but on the other hand they have steadily been dropping original programming & on air people for endless reruns of the same handful of games.  So maybe NFL Network needs to get back to being a channel that is worth a price increase.
