Apologies, I was able to locate the below printed on your Comcast statement dated 10/17/2020
Effective December 8, 2020, WJXT-Dabl (SD) channel 230 will no longer be available on this channel line-up. WJXT-Dabl programming can still be found on (HD) channel 1172. In addition, on the same effective date, WFOX MY/ME SD channel 29 and HD channel 1031 will no longer be available on this channel lineup. WFOX HD will move from channel 436 to channel 220. Programming for WFOX HD can still be found on channel 1184.
Not sure of the exact reason, but it could be at the request of the local station or a contractual issue.
MeTV is pretty much always carried as a sub channel of a local affiliate. The local affiliate likely dropped the channel, not Xfinity. They have have no say. That is my understanding.

I agree MouseD. My 84 year old Mother in-law is facing the same issue with a different cable company and she just doesn’t have the desire to sit on the phone and wait for a live person from another country to listen to her complaints and make empty promises and apologies. Where’s the FCC in all this highway robbery by these cable providers?
I don't have channel 1184 now...I had MeTv on channel 29...thanks for nothing.....you keep removing more and more channels from my list cause I am lower end TV package...and trying to force me to pay more and more I live on small income but nope you want to keep robbing more money from us.
I spoke too soon. The new channels both work on our HD box, but neither are on our SD boxes. Any advice? _____________ Best advice is to upgrade your equipment, you shouldn’t have any SD equipment, it looks like the SD feed is no more. Essentially the same price
I just talked to technical guy at WJAX local CBS. He said, as I read in MeTV email reply, that Comcast has moved it to 1184. That channel is not in my lineup. Can’t get anybody at Comcast

@jax.jags In your area MeTV is broadcast locally on a subchannel (secondary channel) of WFOX-TV in Jacksonville.
The station likely will have an update to provide.
