MSG and MSG+

Is Xfinity ever going to come to an agreement and provide MSG and MSG+ again??  Dropping these channels is totally unacceptable.  I contacted Xfinity about this and never heard back.  If they don't bring back these channels, I'm going to have to look for another provider.  Not having MSG and MSG+ is just not an option for my family.

Agreed! Some kind of deal needs to be reached as soon as possible, because this is definitely unacceptable. I'm only on the chat forum to try to find out if there's any news of a possible deal, or if there's some alternative, because I, too, am about to look at changing services because of this. Xfinity better drop the regional sports fee, because it is simply not being provided now...

I was told today that they are still negotiating with MSG and will notify us when the have an agreement. They are tracking complaints about this so I would definitely let them know you are not happy about this! Hopefully they will have an agreement soon!

It's unreal that it has even gotten this far. For Xfinity to put out a release saying practically no one that subscribes to them watches MSG sports is a ridiculous statement. That insult alone is probably why MSG won't negotiate with them but has completed a deal with FIOS. Maybe we all should do the same and never look back.

Completely disgusted with Comcast over this. I've been a triple play customer for many years and now also have Xfinity Mobile services. As Inconvenient as it will be, I will most definitely look for alternative service providers. My home is already wiredfor Fios which would make the switch fairly simple.

Get on the ball Comcast!

Comcast has no regard for their subscribers.....we pay excessively high prices, not to metion an additional chare each month for "regional sports", yet they dropped MSG!

Agreed MSG is basically regional sports. To drop coverage of four of the biggest sports teams and still charge the fees is an insult. I too will start looking for television options.

You need to add back MSG and MSG+ immediately. Completely ridiculous

I would like to hear from Xfinity soon about what their plan is to include MSG.  Very unhappy that the network was dropped and not available for the start of the NBA season.

The only way I could find was to do a chat online. It’s impossible to find a phone number to actually call someone. Another terrible process from Comcast!

What is the best way to contact Xfinity to voice a complaint?

Hey there, @user_0c65b9, Comcast’s agreements with programmers expire from time to time. We had been negotiating with MSG Networks to reach a fair deal that made sense for our customers before the current one expired, allowing us to continue offering MSG and MSG+ on our channel lineup, but were not able to come to an agreement.

Nationally televised New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New York Islanders and New Jersey Devils games will be available on TNT and ESPN. MSG/MSG+ are available on Fubo. Please check your local listings for games that may be airing in your area. We definitely apologize for the inconvenience!

Is Xfinity currently working with MSG to get this resolved?

I am paying for the regional sports package.  When you stop providing the channels that carry the regional sports teams (MSG networks), what am i paying for?

How can you blackout other options (like ESPN+, NHL Network, NBA Network), when you do not provide an alternative?

I am a very unhappy customer looking for answers.

Is the Xfinity-MSG Network resolution forthcoming?

If MSG is not back on before Christmas, Fubo will be a good substitute for Xfinity.
