MLB Extra Innings
It is still about 7 weeks until the baseball season starts but I am wondering if the MLB Extra Innings pay for view package be available on Xfinity for the 2026 MLB season. The Extra Innings channels are still in the channel lineup and in past years I have received a letter from Xfinity telling me that I am being automatically renewed as I had subscribed to the pay for view package last season. So far no letter and I wondering.

Following this post.
Also wondering if there will be an Xfinity purchase option for my home team (Seattle Mariners) to add to MLB Extra Innings. Root Sports which carried the M’s last year is no longer available. And it looks like there will be a streaming option, but anything on cable tv?

It is far too early for Xfinity to have an announcement regarding the 2026 MLB season. The exhibition season just began this week. In previous years I recall that Xfinity announced the upcoming season about 2 weeks before the regular season begins. Then they follow up with a free preview the first week of the season where customers can take advantage of the early bird pricing.

Same thing with me, I got my letter saying mine would renew still not able to get any of the channels. I have called 10 times and have chatted with someone online and still nothing pretty annoying if you ask me. All I want is to be able to view the channel while they are doing spring trainings etc

Hello, we are new to Xfinity this year, always had Directv for the MLB package and we always got the spring training games, I understand that you can’t get the spring training games on Xfinity, which is okay. Also, we have been trying for 2 weeks to sign up for this year but have been able to. Have talked to 6 different agents with no help at all. We do see that the channels are there so after seeing this community chat site, I am assuming that we just can’t sign up until the season starts. Any insight is appreciated.

It took me 90 minutes today to connect finally to a real human voice and then another 30 minutes of questions/answers to supposedly activate my MLB Extra Innings subscription for 2026. Last year the subscription and billing automatically renewed. Using online prompts it had been impossible for me to complete renewal of my subscription for 2026. I am pessimistically hopeful that today's adventure actually results in my havng a subscription for 2026. What a ridiculous way to operate a nationwide business.

I just received an email from Xfinity that my subscription for Extra Innings for the 2026 season is confirmed and that I will be billed either the full amount of $149.99 in one billing or $37.50 over 4 billing cycles depending how I was billed and paid last season.

I have been trying to add this onto my parents accounts since spring training started and it looks like we are all having the same issue - I did just find this on their website where it says Extra Bases will be free the first week after Opening Day, so I'm hoping it can be added after that : https://www.xfinity.com/learn/digital-cable-tv/sports/mlb
