MLB EXTRA INNINGS NOT RECORDING
I have setup to record all Chicago Cubs games on 3005. Today 4.26 the game did not record. Looking at the scheduled recordings no games show up for the next 4 days then on 4.30 it shows a recording set up. Then no more games for the next 2 weeks. There is some kind of issue if we are all reporting problems
I was on the phone for over an hour and no fix. Service coming out tomorrow. Never had issues before getting the 4K box.

Hello Xfinity-Please correct this problem with the guide. I paid a lot of $$ for MLB extra innings and it is inexcusable that the games are not airing on TV. Once again I missing my favorite team(the only reason why I subscribed to this package) and I see only 1 future game showing in the guide.
What are you doing?
Why are you not correct this?
How am going to be compensated for paying for this service and Xfinity not living up to your responsibility?
I viewed the guide just before posting this and it is very, very disappointing the game I want to watch tonight is not airing, even though the game is being played, per the MLB schedule.

XFINITY- please just listen to everyone on this thread. I do not need to trouble shot my side Stop asking us to do this. Pull up the guide on your side - start at channel 3002 Braves Channel. Look at it right now - view it. On the screen you will see a list of all the games for that day. Everyone of those games should show in the guide at that time. If they did then dvr would record. There are 162 games in a normal season - every game should show in the guide at game time. It did in previous years.
today 5/11 Braves play Boston at 7:00 todays game shows up & my dvr is set to record it. The Braves play again 5/13 at 7:00 vs San Diego - no game listed so dvr no recording
Again please just look at this on your side. It is not our equipment it is not mlb’s issue - it is on XFINITY side.

I am heading over to my local Xfinity store this afternoon. Maybe if they actually see the problem on their own televisions they'll understand the problem. I'll report back.

Once again my team is playing today and the game is not on the guide. Not on the schedule. How is this even happening? I visited the MLB Extra Innings schedule and of course all the games are listed on the schedule. None of us here paid over $100 for MLB Extra Innings to watch, "some games". If this is the service Xfinity was offering I'm sure none of us would have paid for the service.
Many of us have enjoyed MLB Extra Innings for years and years and I cannot recall this happening. Not once. Just poor service from Xfinity and all any technician from Xfinity needs to do is upload the game schedule into the guide like they do not only for these channels but the entire channel lineup.

I want to make everyone aware of the fact I visited my local Xfinity store today. The person with whom I spoke couldn't have cared less. When I asked him to pull up the channel guide so that he could see/understand what I was talking about, all he could say was "We don't subscribe to MLB Extra Innings here.", which had nothing to do with the fact the guide problem was right in front of him if he'd cared to look at it. Interestingly, he told me that personnel in the Xfinity store have no ability to communicate/register problems with Xfinity "headquarters". My next step is to dispute the MLB Extra Innings charge with my credit card company for non-delivery of service. For what it's worth, if I go to channel 3019 (Yankees) in the late morning (I live in Arizona), I can press the record button and select twelve hours of recording, believing that the game will/should fall somewhere in that twelve hour window. I'm guessing Xfinity will view this as "Aha, the problem's fixed."

What's the status on getting this resolved? I just spoke to an XFINITY representative who said this is because MLB doesn't send the correct game information so thats why the guide is wrong. I don't buy that. We pay a fortune for cable and even more for this service and I am very angry.

Don't forget the White Sox! The same issue applies, and this is unconscionably annoying.

Well after they did reset an agent called me. She was a super nice lady. She knew immediately what I was talking about. She apologized that everyone at XFINITY is not aware this is a national issue. She said engineers are working on it. Yes a temp fix is to go in each day and at least start the recording at game time. She knew this is not acceptable & again apologized. The person I was working with on the help forum really didn’t get what I was talking about. I took photos & screenshots - he know understands what we are all talking about too. Again the agent I spoke with hoped this would be solved within 72 hours if not sooner. They are quite aware baseball fans are not happy. Fingers crossed the get it fixed soon.

Here is a copy of the dispute I just submitted to my credit card company.
The disputed amount represents the first of four installments for the MLB Extra Innings baseball package. Currently, the service is "broken" in that baseball games are not able to be recorded. I have spoken twice with Xfinity representatives via telephone as well visited my local Xfinity store. The representatives have failed to fix the problem. This problem is well-documented on Xfinity community forums(s).
I've now made three contacts on three separate dates; twice via telephone and once in person. The first person I spoke with didn't understand the problem. The second person was very helpful in trying to understand and document the problem but has been unable to fix the problem. The third person - my in person contact - showed no interest in understanding or documenting the problem.

As of this moment, channel 3019 - Yankees - DOES show the game today against the White Sox at 5:10PM MST. AND, I was able to set up a recording for today's game as well as games the rest of the season. Next step is to see if it, in fact, records, and continues to record going forward. I can't testify to the absolute accuracy of what I'm about to write but the rest of the channel guide looks better but still incomplete.

Braves channel 3002 has games listed now. I checked my dvr under schedule & recordings are set!! Not sure what happens to Friday games on Apple TV & Sunday game on peacock. Does this mean if a teams game is on one of these channels it will not play under mlb extra innings? Braves are on Apple TV tomorrow at 7:20 so I will see.

I've had the same problems for two years. Tonight I attempted to record Ch 3021 the Phillies game. It worked for less than ten minutes (top of the first inning 2 outs) when the "Sorry we have recording problems and this game cannot be recorded". I've also had games where during the 4th inning it was suddenly the 7th inning. The one thing I've done is uncheck the box at Xfinity or Comcast saying I would make 4 payments of $34.99. It's May 13th and my due payment stayed the same without the additional $34.99 included. I tried to call Xfinity and cancel even keep pressing 0 multiple times to get a real person but couldn't get through. The automated voice would say "I know you would like to speak to a representative" until finally just saying "Goodbye". It seems the only way to watch games is to leave it on the channel for 1 hour and then rewind for an hour. The forum is nice but Xfinity just doesn't care and either can't or won't solve the problem.

So, I'm better than last week trying to record Yankees games but the problem has not been entirely fixed. When I go to channel 3019, select "New York Yankees" to record all present and future games, what gets recorded is the Chicago White Sox broadcast (which happened all weekend) and the Baltimore Orioles broadcast (which will be happening tonight and, presumably, the rest of the week). The only way to record the Yankees broadcast on channel 3019 is to set up single game recording every morning. Pain in the neck. Anyone else experiencing this?

Anyone notice that there are constant problems ever since they moved the games to streaming channels?
I was a subscriber every year until they made that move and noticed (on the free preview) all recording were of the cloud variety.
