MHz Worldview - Chicago

Just a note that in the Chicago area, WTTW is dropping MHz Worldview as of March 1, 2020. Comcast 372 (broadcast 20.1) will air WTTW World, and 369 (broadcast 11.3) will be WTTW Create. Currently, World and Create share 369 and air about 12-hours each.

I am sorry to hear this. I’m now in the Chicagoland area most of the time, but I haven’t had the time to watch MHz recently. Back when I was mostly in the DC area, the sponsoring PBS stations dropped MHz maybe 2 years ago?

What a fantastic outlet for international detective dramas. I guess you can pay to Internet- stream MHz. My consolation is that over the last decade I recorded a ton of its dramas to DVD, so I’m not short of future viewing material.

Still...a treasure lost to TV viewers across Chicagoland and elsewhere. (And of course, out of Comcast’s control.) Ah, Borgen!
