message xre-0024 instant replay card removed

Can't rewind or fast forward on live TV.  Received the xre0024 error message.  Unplugged cable box for a few minutes, plugged back in and that didn't fix it.

No, we took our cable box to an Xfinity store and swapped it out, and things are fine now.
