I pay an outrageous cable bill for like 5 channels that i actually watch. Msg is one of them. It needs to come back or consider me cancelled. There is a Rangers game on tonight that i will go see somewhere else and if i have to do that, i dont need you.

Exactly.

The only reason I hadn't cut the cord is local sports.

Good morning! I know how frustrating this is truly. We are sorry for any inconvenience and understand this kind of change is unexpected.

On September 30, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST, our agreement to carry MSG Networks expired and we no longer have the rights to carry the channels (MSG and MSG+). Comcast’s agreements with programmers expire from time to time. We had been negotiating with MSG Networks to reach a fair deal that made sense for our customers before the current one expired, allowing us to continue offering MSG and MSG+ on our channel lineup, but were not able to come to an agreement.

I no longer work for Comcast.

Here's a wacky idea: how about you let the actual customers decide what "makes sense" for us and what doesn't before just making an assumption on our behalf and taking away channels we already pay for...?

@XfinityKorie So you wait until Knicks are about to start and give a sudden notice to long time, hi cost subscribers. I was about to leave you as a provider when you did this with the YES Network and now it's MSG. I know this is to make the most for your stock holders and to he-l with your customers. I wish is that you lose 50% of your customers and become a second rate company.

@rwest541 I'll be one of the lost customers, starting Monday morning. $238 a month? I don't even HAVE anything!

With so many people cutting the cord Xfinity should be ensuring that this nonsense never occurs.  We pay a regional sports fee.  How about bringing customers regional sports? Wake up before you lose more customers to the plethora of other options available to them.

Now I will start planning to "cut the cord".  MSG Go was one of the few services that I actually use.

why plan, when you can just give them the same amount of time they gave us.  Drop immediately.

Its insane to think that a cable company would wait this late to inform its customers that they will be losing channels. MSG is one of the main channels I watch for local sports and if they do not intend to resolve this matter quickly they can consider me a former customer for the foreseeable future. I just looked into Verizon Fios the packages they are offering are actually larger for less money. Thank God they are finally available in my area. Address this concern match their deal or consider me gone.

I want MSG back!! Sorry Comcast. You have about 2 weeks to solve this problem or a move to Vios or Fubo is coming.

According to Comcast, "no one" watches MSG so I guess all of us are figments of our own imaginations.

@PeteRFNY Yes per Comcast “no one” watches Devils Knicks Isles or Red Bulls in Northern NJ but yet Comcast carries the Big Ten Network The Tennis Channel and The SEC network in this area. How many people are watching those networks? At least give fans a chance to watch the games by putting them in some package and let customers choose what they want to pay for and watch.

Local sports is the only reason why I pay your highly inflated prices. Your dropping the MSG networks is just a negotiating ploy. So in the end, Comcast's customers are nothing more than pawns.

Comcast doesn't care about their subscribers or ensuring that they receive what they are paying for.

Bring back MSG!

Once again, Comcast decides to take away something that I pay for. No other company in the world, can charge a person a fee and then take away a service. I pay a lot of money for the 5 channels I actually watch. MSG is one of them. How do you get away with this stuff? First YES, now MSG. How about you take away a couple hundred channels I don't ever watch?

Comcast, you continue to fail as a provider by removing one of the most watched channels!  Utter failure.

Your prices keep going north while your products and services keep going south. Just kiss Dolan’s ring, and bring back MSG Network!!!

So you are forcing most of your most loyal and high paying customers to look for alternatives. What about all of the channels that us MSG viewers pay for that we never watch?

Isn't that us supplementing all of the other viewers that you claim shouldn't have to pay for high priced sports? I am now in the process of looking for how I get the MSG channels in my home which will require me dropping all of the Comcast content and going internet service only and then finding a few streaming packages. Thanks so much for taking care of us that hung on while others go to the streaming route. At least you could have given us advance notice so we could all get setup for the start of the Knicks and Rangers seasons. I am now going to change my tune when people ask me why I like Comcast and tell them they just threw us to the curb with some [Edited: "Language"] statement that their customers shouldn't pay for MSG.

There are alternatives if they force our hands, tonight I watched MSG via FUBO. Picture was great, great sound high quality. I am on a trial awaiting what happens between Comcast and MSG. If this winds up like a YES situation then next move is internet only service, FUBO for the Rangers and Knicks and Netflix etc. Overall price will be lower than what I am paying now and I won't be begging Comcast to broadcast our major regional sports teams.
