Is there any way to get a list of what channels I'm paying for?

The channel lineup page lists every channel *available* but not which channels I'm paying for, despite that being a pretty important part of the contract.

Hey @user_7aksx2, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. I recommend viewing our Xfinity Channel Lineup and TV Guide page where you can view the different channels which are in each package. We do not have a document that we can provide you, but this would be the best resource to see what channels are in each service tier package we offer. It will go over the included channels in our Limited Basic/Choice TV, Sports and News TV, Popular TV, and Ultimate TV Xfinity Video plans.

@XfinityDemitrius That page does not work.  I give it my address, it lets me either login to change my plan, and redirects me to https://www.xfinity.com/learn/existing/offers-changeplan or I have to say I'm a new customer who is moving into my home, or I have to say I'm an existing customer who is moving into my home. There is no page that lets me just see the lineup of the channels I'm paying for.

That would be the main page that is available @user_7aksx2. You can view the current lineups online at https://www.xfinity.com/learn/channel-lineup or https://www.xfinity.com/support/local-channel-lineup/ . Alternatively, you can view all the channels within the X1 Menu Guide, Xfinity Stream App or web portal, or visit a local Xfinity Store to see if there are any flyers available. We regularly review our channel lineups and sometimes make changes to ensure we're offering a wide variety of content at the best value. So channel changes do happen, so using the online resource above will reflect changes as they happen.

Like I said, the https://www.xfinity.com/learn/channel-lineup link redirects to try to *sell* me a bundle and the https://www.xfinity.com/support/local-channel-lineup/ link tells me all the available channels but doesn't note which ones I do and don't get. Is there a way to see *what channels my package receives* or is comcast incapable of telling me that? I don't need a brochure, I just need a page that says "these are the channels you pay for and receive".

user_7aksx2 To the right of the address box, you will see it have this hyperlink Sign in to view your channels, I included the link, so you can go directly to the sign in option. Once you are signed in it will show you the full breakdown of your current line up, and it will also give you the option to compare it to the other tiers if you are searching for a specific channel.

@XfinityThomasB I don't know how else to explain this to you, but that shows *channels I do not receive*.  I am signed in. I've put in my address. Your website *shows me channels I do not receive*.  Maybe it's *supposed* to not do that but the actual website *does not work*.

I am here because I am looking for the same thing or even the list of channels included in each level of service.  I do not pay for HBO.  I don't get HBO but your link you last provided shows HBO in the list.  Two years ago, we were able to get a list of channels that were included at each service level to determine what best fits our needs.  Where can we find this?????

You can find the channel line up here: https://www.xfinity.com/learn/channel-lineup-bundles

You may need to enter your address, so the line-up populates.

Liars. This link does NOT show my channels, the ones I pay for, it shows ALL CHANNELS in the package, including ones that I DO NOT PAY FOR. Explain how to get an actual list of channel on my plan, and NOT including channels that I CANNOT get.

doctorhifi When you click the link are you logging in? Channel line ups can also change depending on location and the link provided would be the only link we have to provide you for channel line up. If you have a question about a specific channel and if it is included in your line up, our team would be happy to take a look. Just send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address to get started.

To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

I spent 45 minutes with live chat today trying to get this information. She clearly HAD a list of channels per package that was exactly what I was asking for three times in three different ways BUT the only thing she sent was the entire channel line-up. Then she insisted that on the ALL CHANNELS list, there was some kind of indication of which package(s) each channel was part of - which would have been great, except that there was absolutely no such thing on the document - no colors, codes, or links to anything. She gave me a very vague listing of the "types of channels" that were available in the 125+ package, but would not give specifics. Then she tried asking what I was looking for, so I gave her a few channels and then she told me that I would have to get the ultimate package. I listed Discovery, History, news and local sports. There's NO WAY I would need the ultimate package for those. But, of course, I don't actually know that since I apparently can't be given the actual channel list per package. I finally told her it was like going to the grocery store and buying a sealed carboard box labeled "fruit and things like fruit." SO INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING! I'm not buying a package with hidden contents. How are you supposed to compare packages? And, of course, they had already bumped me up to the highest level package and internet speed without my permission or request and now my bill is nearly $300/ month for stuff I don't want!!!

Hello @user_e84yq5 I'm sorry if the agent did not provide the correct link to view the lineups. You can compare packages at https://www.xfinity.com/learn/channel-lineup by entering your address. This chart will put a dot in each package a specific channel is included in. Based on the channels you mentioned the Ultimate tier may be necessary for the local sports that air on your regional based channels. But the rest that you mentioned are in the Popular lineup.

This is completely outrageous.  The only channel line up I can access independently is all channels available at my service address.  No indication if I have access or not.  Neither is there an option to see what the cost of additional programs if I choose to subscribe.

i just spent 40 minutes on the phone with a customer service rep that succeeded only in sending me the same list of channels available at my address… twice!

what channels am I paying for?  What others are available?  What would changes (additions or deletions) cost.

It should not be this difficult.

@ploofee - I have a feeling the answer to your question is, "It is 'that difficult' for their system to show each individual account exactly what channels they actually receive."

Try this: print out the list they sent you, then go into your X1 guide, press the Guide button again, set the guide to "Free to Me," and go through the list, crossing off the channels that you're not getting. Yes, that's doing it "the long way," but that may be the only way to do it.

Greetings, @ploofee! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about your channel lineup. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

I don't know if this will be any more helpful than what you were already offered, but I was wondering the same thing about my own account at one point, so I understand why this is important. If you check the 3rd page of your monthly billing statement, it should tell you the name of the package you are subscribed to (Choice, Sports & News, Popular TV, or Ultimate TV). If you are on one of our legacy channel lineups, Popular TV used to be called Digital Starter, and Ultimate TV used to be called Digital Preferred (or Premier if you had the premium movie channels). Once you know the name of your package, you can go to http://Xfinity.com/learn/channel-lineup and enter your address to see a grid list of which channels are included with each of these lineups.

I will admit, this is still a little limited because it will not show you what channel numbers correspond with each channel, but it will allow you to see what channels should be included with your subscription.

As far as the potential cost involved with making additions or deletions, that can vary considerably, depending on what kind of package or discounts you currently have, what is available in your area, and what kind of changes you were looking to make. If you do see channels listed on the grid that you wanted to add or remove from your account, we would be more than happy to go through that with you. We can also answer any questions you have about specific channels, if that would be helpful. Please let me know if we can be of assistance.
