INSP

Charging for INSP is simply a result of the content. Westerns like gunsmoke and Rio bravo attract an older white demographic. Prob 60+. Think Fox News. This makes it difficult to sell advertising on the channel. That’s why you see a lot of 1-800 advertisers. This means the profitability is a lot lower than other channels. So.

it has a core audience however. Xfinity is betting you will pay $10 a month for it thereby making up the difference.

I am not angry. It’s business. I am just moving on to where I can receive it without paying $10 a month extra. That’s my business decision. Everyone needs to make money.

cheers and good luck.

If you think the only people that watch Fox News are "white people 60+" then you obviously don't know who is watching Fox News. I know A LOT of people in their 30s-50s, that are of every race/ethnic background that watch Fox News.

TCM Turner Classic Movies was pushed into the Sport and Entertainment Package a few years ago. Yes, they so alot of "classic" films but also many popular films and have a wide audience range, not just 60+.

Sorry dude.

The median age of a prime-time viewer was 68 as of 2015. A 2019 Pew Research Center survey showed that among those who named Fox News as their main source for political news, 69% are aged 50 or older. According to a 2013 Gallup poll, 94% of Fox viewers "either identify as or lean Republican". So. There it is.
