I am trying to activate paramount+. It appears that Xfinity no longer provides phone support.

I am trying to activate paramount+ ... no luck. It appears that Xfinity/Comcast no longer provides phone support. So how can I get this done?

Scanning the QR code provides nothing. Going to paramountplus.com/provider ( or paramountplus.com/xfinity)  will not accept the activation code provided..

Thank you for reaching out to us @user_55cb5c! At this time, a subscription that included access to the Paramount + Showtime live channels is separate from the Paramount+ App. Access to Paramount+ and Paramount+ content available through On demand is billed separately. 

 

To subscribe to the Paramount+ app through the box, we have this dedicated article here.

So let me get this right….

we pay you for the premium paramount+/showtime channels but STILL have to pay to access and watch the stuff on the paramount+ app ???

Krk34 I would be happy to assist you with accessing the Paramount + app as you are having trouble after subscribing to it. To confirm, are you trying to log into the app using a device of yours, or our TV box? Have you been able to log into it before without issue?

@Krk34​ Surely not, but Xfinity is not a choice on the list of providers on Paramount plus.com.  I pay on my statement, have a smart TV and cannot find how to get in without paying again to Paramount as well!
