How to get newsmax channel 1115 on comcast

Greetings,

I contacted Comcast & they said I should be getting Newsmax Ch. 1115 because it's on the channel lineup I have. Yet, 1115 is absent from the channel guide. The channel numbers go from 1114 with the very next channel being 1121. Any ideas why I'm not getting Newsmax?

Are you on the X1 platform?

How do I get Newsmax? I type the channel "1115" and it does not show up. It jumps from 1114 to 1120. Also does Xfinity have One America Network (OAN) channel? Thank you,

In order to receive Newsmax you need to be on the X1 platform.

Same here.

I have the XR2 remote. Channel 1115 does not appear in my channel guide.

To get Newsmax channel 1115 you need to be on the X1 platform.

What is the technical reason for requiring the X1 platform to receive Newsmax/1115? 
For context, I currently use a Tivo Premiere w/ CableCard.

Newsmax is an IP channel.  You need to be on the X1 platform in order to get it.

NewsMax is included on our X1 platform in most all areas. Do you have an X1 cable box? What do you see when you tune to channel 1115? Is there a message on the screen?

You can also use your voice remote and say 'Newsmax' to find it on your X1 box.

Please remember Newsmax is only available if you have X1.
