How do I get rid of the Quick Tip screen when I'm trying to access my Favorites and schedule?

I used to be able to see My Favorites schedules by clicking the Guide button twice. Now all I get is a Quick Tip screen. How do I fix this?

Hi there! We can see why that would be frustrating when you were previously able to get straight to your Favorites by pressing Guide twice.

First, try setting Favorites as your default Guide view instead of using the double-press shortcut. Press the Xfinity button on your remote, then go to Settings > Preferences > General > Default Guide View and select Favorites. After that, pressing Guide once should take you directly to your Favorites lineup. Xfinity’s current X1 instructions confirm Favorites can be selected as the default Guide view.

If you still get stuck on the Quick Tip screen after changing that setting, let us know. We’ve seen other recent reports of the Favorites Guide behaving this way, so we can work through the next steps with you rather than having you keep fighting with that screen.
