How do I cancel HBOMAX

There are tons of posts asking this question but the response is always to use peer-to-peer chat or a direct message.  I get HBO MAX through xFinity/Flex but neither the app nor account management nor the Flex provide an option to cancel.

How can I get started?

Hi! Thanks for posting here in our Community. We can help! For starters, do you recall the method used to sign up for HBO Max in the first place? To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3Ac0YC2

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

To send a direct message: 

 

  1. Sign into the community. 
  2. Click the message count or envelope icon to go to our private message inbox 
  3. Click the New Message icon. 
  4. Enter Xfinity Support in the Send to field. 
  5. Type the reply in the Message box. 
  6. Click Enter to send your message. 
  7. You can see your back and forth messages with any user by clicking the messages.
