Does your retention department know they are on a deadline to restore NFL Network and RedZone?
Hello Xfinity!
Does your retention department know they are on a hard deadline to restore the NFL Network and Red Zone PRIOR to the start of the NFL season this year?
Please understand that your retention department has until September 9th, 2026 to restore access to the NFL Network and Red Zone.
This clock is ticking. Today is July 1st. You’ve already wasted two months. You only have two months and 9 days left.
It’s your choice and it’s common sense:
1. Keep NFL and RedZone- keep customers!
2. Lose NFL and RedZone - lose customers…

@ChewieRoRo Thanks for reaching out about NFL programming. The agreement to carry NFL Network expired, so it’s no longer available with Xfinity. This includes NFL RedZone and any related Xfinity Stream and On Demand programming.
Please know Comcast pays programmers to bring you the entertainment you love, and, so far, Disney/ESPN has not proposed a deal that Comcast believes is fair for its customers. Comcast continues to work toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for its customers.

I’m here to say, well done Xfinity! You got the message and you understood the assignment. It took a long time; but you got there in the end, and service resumed on 8/10/2026. I had not seen the news so was very pleased this morning to see GMFB on channel 169 and the purple screen of sadness is GONE.
You did it!!!!

Ok, I spoke too soon. The purple screen of sadness is BACK this morning. Why is the NFL channel 169 now back offline after you just announced that you had reached a deal with h ESPN and Disney??????????
Putting your retention department back on notice effective immediately: bring back NFL channel stop playing games and I don’t ever want to see this ridiculous purple screen of sadness ever again.
GMFB should be on RIGHT NOW and it’s not.
