Hey, I pay a lot for my X1 account. What the heck is going on with Xfinity and Disney? Give us the Disney Plus App. Like I said, I pay a lot for X1 over $150 a month surely Xfinity Content Program Department can negotiate with Disney for Disney Plus. Do that and you will have happy customers while your churn numbers go down. Right now I am mad because I have to stream my Disney Plus account via my cellphone. Not a happy customer. Do better Xfinity! or lost customers during a historical pandemic and you know everyone is working from home and we want to watch the movies on Disney Plus!
Disney+ is on the roadmap, thanks for your patience. The X1/Flex platform uses a Linux derivative called RDK as it’s operating system so it takes time to onboard apps. We’ve got Hulu, CBS All Access, Spotify and Sling up and running, while HBO Max, Disney+ are ones we'll want to eventually include.
If you have a chromecast or a chromecast supported tv, you can use all those apps and even Xfinity Stream to cast from your phone to your TV.
how come xfinity dose not have disney+ and when will they get it it not fair that i see it addvertise all the time but cant get it because xfinity dose not support it why

So upset xfinity has not added Disney+ I mean come on it’s not that hard to update everyone’s TV box services it’s expensive already and you don’t get one of the most popular sites on them. Xfinity needs to change this ASAP!

You can get Disney+ if you get the Flex device or use an externa device like Firestick or Roku. The Flex device is new form XFinity, but you have to pay a monthly fee for the device like $5 a month. They are trying to negotiatte with Disney. Also, if you have Hulu you can get Disney+ merged with it, but sadly you still need that Flex device. It appears that Comcast has quite a few external devices for us to use. I remember how long it took to for them to get the Hulu app. Just wait and see.
Yes XFinity did drop Starz which I was disappointed. On the bright side they did ad Hulu. I was waiting for that. You can get Disney+ if you have Hulu already. But I think you need their new device called "Flex". While you do pay for the devie like $5 a month, it is a free internet service. It is their answer to streaming devices like Roku or Firestick. And if you already have one of those you can watch Disney+.
As for when they will add Disney+, it is up to Disney. They already own a bunch of other channels. Disney doesn't have their own cable company so they will need to go beyond streaming from the internet devices and go to a wider platform to satisfy their viewers. I know a lot of people have Disney+ for this reason: Exclusive content like The Mandalorian and other great shows. I would jump at getting it now before they go on the XFinity platform, because they (Disney) will raise the price. Oh, and Comcast may raise their price too. For now, you can use the Roku, Firestick or stream it from your other internet devices. Most people have more updated tvs that allow casting from your device. XFinity has this feature now.
And now if you have Hulu you can get Disney+, but you have to have the Flex device. XFinity's answer to the problem, which is $5 a month for the device, but supposedly a free internet service. For now.

Just wait it will happen.

Disney cannot force Xfinity to do anything. It's a negotiation for a contract.

You need Disney+ for that. A different app for streaming you have to subscribe to.
