Disappointed with Comcast and Bally Sports
Will be researching other carriers for the Twins when my contract with Comcast ends. Unfortunate for Comcast and many Twins fans

I am gratified to see Bally Sports fail. It has always been a disappointment to see my Florida teams being broadcast on a subsidiary of the despicable Sinclair Broadcasting. It is the height of hypocrisy for wealthy athletes who (mostly) proclaim support for social justice to suckle at the teat of one of the most hard-right purveyors of fake news. Good riddance Bally and if my Florida teams don't find a more acceptable network to carry their content then I will find a sports team who does.

So disappointed in Xfinity/Comcast. I would love to read the previous contract vs the most recent proposal. So far i have read that Comcast wanted to make it available for an additional fee to the customer and Bally Sports disagreed. Then Comcast put Bally Sports Bankruptcy business right on the channel. That seemed very childish. I thought it was a joke at first. They could have just been professional and stated they cpuldnt reach an agreement. I hate satellite providers but some Cardinal games are better than none.

How can Xfinity still be a sponsor of the Atlanta Braves, but yet Xfinity customers can no longer watch the games due to a stupid dispute?

"We have made a number of reasonable offers..." Reason is in the eye of the beholder. Odd that other carriers were able to reach agreement with Bally. The crux of the problem is that Comcast wants to move Bally to a higher tier, thus gaining higher fees. Bally doesn't want that because it would reduce the number of eyeballs watching their telecast. Comcast is deceiving its customers.

It doesn't necessarily mean fewer eyeballs. It means fewer people paying for a channel they never watch.

According to reports, Comcast has ended all negotiations.

Fix the Bally Sports issue or Comcast will have a mass exit to Directv & Fubo. Fix by end of June, or I will switch both internet and tv service. Having regional MLB is a key reason to have Comcast, without it, it is not worth the price.

Got a whole $5.70 one credit because of the Ballysport thing. I have been a Concerned/Xfinity customer before they were Comcast. Time to check out YouTube Tv

Please explain how I was only credited $11 last billing period, but now have a Regional Sports Fee of $15.45 again on July’s bill?
#1 - The first credit does not even cover the fee…
#2 - Why is the fee ofc$15.45 [Edit: Netiquette] for July!!
Seems like such a scam…. almost like when I signed up a few years ago and my plan was $127 and now it’s more than doubled at $254. [Edit: Language] to say the least!

Ive been with Xfinity for years. Before you were Comcast. If their will be no resolution to the regional teams being broadcast on my television service you will lose a subscriber that pays for every service you provide. That's internet, phone service, and TV subscriber. Another provider just made high speed internet available in my neighborhood. You don't have much longer till I pick up and go.

According to one report, they may be talking again. Don't get your hopes up. Bally lost a hockey team recently. More may follow. Even if there is an agreement, you can probably expect it to involve moving it to a higher tier. Either way, getting it back will require paying more in one way or another.

Even more anti-Bally news: The Minnesota Twins may be starting up their own channel. According to reports a Twins TV Channel briefly appeared on some cable systems.

My in-laws are 93 and 91. They are diehard Twins fans. This disagreement between DSG and Comcast has forced them into missing almost this entire season. (If Comcast moves the Twins games to a premium level, they will still miss it as their community supplies every unit with a basic package only.) Corporate greed at its worst is showing through here!
