Why is COZI not going to be broadcasted on Comcast TV channel 311 starting 2/1/2020. This is terrible this is the best station. Very upsetting that this is their decision.

Note clear what you are saying. Do you mean Comcast is dropping Cozi as of February 1? Are you sure it's not the station that carries Cozi that is dropping it?
I checked the KUBE website, and it shows a message saying that the decision to drop Cozi was made by Comcast - KUBE still broadcasts Cozi as an over-the-air subchannel. This time, it really is Comcast's fault...
Looked at Wikipedia for that channel, and they broadcast a whopping 9 channels! It looks like they are going through an ownership change. That may be what is going on and Comcast is waiting to make a deal with the new owners. The original contract may have expired.
Apparently Comcast couldn't reach a deal with KUBE. That could change, however.
How interesting. Apparently, I'M looking for a change. Good thing I'm not under a contract. The local channels. like COSI, are my favorites. I don't watch most of the other channels. Since it seems Comcast cannot reach a deal with COSI, looks like I'll need to reach a deal with a company that CAN make deals.
The deal is not with Cozi's parent company (oddly, it's NBCUniversal!!), but the local TV station that carries Cozi. Comcast may also be part of NBCUniversal, but local stations have full broadcast rights and control what ANY cable or satellite system can carry. And, NO, Comcast cannot simply add Cozi as a standalone cable network, either.
I too am upset about this. I was just watching Cozi and a message came across the screen. I have been thinking of ditching cable and getting an antenna and airtv player along with a sling subscription since most of the channels I watch are local ota channels and the few cable channels I watch are on sling. Thanks Comcast for helping me come to a decision.
I hope Comcast gets this together. This was one of my favorite channels. I know what happened to Sirius XM when they did this. Comcast, we do have a choice.
Has either Comcast or KUBE (Cozi affiliate in Houston) issued any official explanation of why Comcast dropped Cozi? Is it another one of those financial disputes?
I am pretty peeved about this, as Comcast just raised my Broadcast TV Fee by 50% last month.....and Cozi (KUBE) is a broadcast channel.

I too am unhappy with this decision. Are they replacing it with anything?

I very much like Cozi and am upset that Comcast is no longer carrying it. Comcast, please reach an agreement to resume carrying Cozi.

I received a response from Comcast stating that COZI will not be reinstated.
Very disappointing!
shows that customer satisfaction means nothing to them.
