Comcast cancels FETV

I pay too much for not getting what I want…..essentially when Comcast gets it free. 
I’ll be dropping Comcast.

My mom is 91 years old and lives in an assisted living facility. She watches FETV all day, every day. All of a sudden, that channel is no longer in her tv lineup of channels. Because the cable is provided by the facility, and I don’t have the account number, I can’t get any info on if this channel is gone for good or temporary. She’s very sad.

Good evening user_ndhsvg thank you os much for taking the time to reach out regarding the Family Entertainment TV(FETV) channel. This channel has been transitioned from a Standard Definition to a High Definition channel broadcast, and some customers who own an SD-only box have lost access. This can be remedied by upgrading the current cable box to an X1 HD cable box. This can be done in-store or by calling us at 1-800-XFINITY(934-6489)

I agree. It's crazy the amount of money that it costs monthly just to have the basic channels and Wi-Fi service. And now you've gone and canceled my favorite channel, the one that I look forward to after a long stressful day, fetv. Really disappointed xfinity. Getting closer to canceling you all together. It's just not worth it anymore.
