Keep in mind that, except for "premium" channels like HBO, you can't get rid of individual channels. You can change what package you get, but that's about it. This is not going to change any time soon.
How many channels do you get now? Do you get Starz/Encore? How about Disney XD, or EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network)? At least where I live, those are all on the most expensive package.
Do you also pay extra for HBO, or Showtime, or Cinemax, or Netflix (okay, that's an app and not a "channel," but I for one pay for it through Xfinity)? $400/month sounds a little high.
