Cartoon network moving to higher packages

In this time of quarantine, cartoon network is the only thing keeping my kids sane. It was scheduled to be removed from standard packages in April but has been pushed back upon further review of many complaints. I would literally have to pay 40 dollars more to pick up a digital preferred package just to get this channel. THATS absurd. As it is all the package prices have gone up and Comcast is pushing their voice packages down our throats. I dont need phone service I need cartoon network to keep my sanity for my kids. Comcast dont do this.

The network may not have many viewers as it once did so as a result they considered on moving the channel in order to maintain cost. It was possibly deferred due to the pandemic.

Most Cartoon Network content is being moved to HBO Max.

Cartoon network was removed today 4/13/21 time to get Verizon Fios now. Cheaper and faster internet.

Bye bye ConCast

My same thoughts, and it's cheaper from what I've seen!

It is just another way for comcast to try to suck more money out of its subscribers!  It is a way for them to get people to 'rent' the larger more expensive boxes.  It is pathetic they charge for the small converter boxes on every tv.  They were not needed before the digital conversion, and only after for older analog tuner televisions.  They were free for a while and then required after comcast scrambled the signal and required them for digital tuner tv's.  and of course the monthly 'rental' fee has constantly increased.  They are a TOTAL scam!

Signed up two months ago for the cheapest package that had CN, now this. Disappointed is an understatement.

Comcast money grab. Kids will nag their patents to get Cartoon Network back and they will end up paying more for a higher cost package to get back what they already had. Shameful.

I signed a 2 year contract with these scammers and I watch CN all the time. People have to unite against this monopoly and put them out of business once and for all. Comcast is nothing but a scam.

I've had Comcast for years now (came from Verizon for the (back then) amazing customer service, but after a year or two it changed now its just as bad as dish! I only watch a handful of channels to begain with and made sure to add on the kids and family package (which included CN) only to get a message yeasterday that is need to pay MORE money, heck NO. I refuse to pay a penny more! If they can't fix it then it's back to Verizon, at this point their customer service is better now anyway.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to bring your concerns to us. I understand how frustrating it is when channels move from one tier of service to another. We do have an option to add the Preferred channel line up for $10.00 for 12 months by visiting: https://comca.st/3uWEj72. It is a limited time offer and will end 4/27, it's a fantastic value since you will not only get to have access to CN but many other programs as well!

If you aren't interested in upgrading many Cartoon Network channels are still available on HBO Max and Hulu as well.

they tried this last year under the same lie, and decided against it. guess xfinity finally got greedy enough to do it. I canceled my whole plan and moved to Verizon 5g home and youtube tv which ended up being way cheaper

This is a violation of my 2 year contract. I will be canceling based on this violation.

That is the right move. They can program boxes by account. Why cant they keep cn for those who agreed to a contract?

So they can just remove channels while we are under contract? This is ridiculous...
