Big10 Network

It is pathetic, that you will not broadcast former Pac12 team games in Big10.

I've sighed up for The Big 10 channel and now this is lame, and after over 20 years with Comcast I'm considering dropping

I paid to add Big10 network. My monthly rate was not reduced when  Pac12 network was dropped. Now get a deal done to get the Duck games on Big10 on Xfinity.
This is irresponsible.

Hello @user_7p8vty my apologies for the inconvenience. We do not have the rights, currently, to broadcast games airing on Big 10 Network for the University of Oregon (U of O). We did not drop PAC-12. The Pac-12 Network is ceasing operations at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) on June 30, 2024, and will no longer be available through Xfinity or any other cable or satellite provider. Many of the schools are moving to different sports conferences.

You may be able to tune into other collegiate sports, sports or broadcast channels available with your Xfinity package, such as ACC or ABC, to watch some of their school’s games. You can also say “sports” in the Xfinity Voice Remote to explore all sports categorized by sport and league, live events, sports shows, and upcoming events. Customer who had PAC-12 a part of their RSN fee received credit. We appreciate their understanding.

Hello user_05asnm, I'm a huge football fan too, so I can imagine how you're feeling. We certainly don't want to see you leave, but I don't have a way to make these games visible through your Big 10 Subscription. Xfinity does a great job evaluating our network offerings, so hopefully down the road we're able to acquire the rights to broadcast all the games. Depending on the team you'd like to watch, you can say their name into your voice remote and alternate viewing options will be displayed. Did you have any other TV or account concerns that I could help with today?

Why? We paid for the More Sports package that included the Big Ten Network but you are going to black out the network. There is a word for that and that word is rip-off.

@XfinityMarcos a completely pathetic response. Comcast very certainly has a way to make these games visible! What an insult to a very large segment of your subscribers!

@XfinityMarcos Within 6 months I will be moving to an area that does not have Xfinity/Comcast.  I’ve been a subscriber since it was Adelphia, approximately 25 years ago.  This is the thanks we get???  Can’t wait to cut cable.  Seems like another Comcast money grab.  Did I get a price reduction when Pac-12 network went away???  I had that.

Don't give lame responses back.  It is a waste of time.  Comcast is so profitable and they say they don't want make sure Customers are not paying for things they don't want when they make excuses for these Sports rights disputes.  Will, all I really need Comcast is for live sports so I'm paying a bundle for all kinds of stuff I don't want.  Quite being so greedy with Sports viewers.  You turned a bunch of people off with treatment of Root sports only on premium package (again paying for a bunch of stuff we don't want) and now this with former Pac 12 teams in Big 10.  Pass it on to management that can do something about it that a lot of your subscribers are mainly tied to cable due to live sports and you are pushing us out the door

The MAIN reason I have cable is for my sports teams... Oregon Ducks and Seattle Seahawks. I have been a Comcast customer for over 25 years... If they don't fix this... I'm Done!

I am about done.  I’m moving in about 6-8 months and I’ve heard no Comcast there!!  When I called to complain today, I asked her if there is Comcast in our future home town.  She asked what our address is, and I said we haven’t bought a house yet, so I didn’t know.  She said when we buy, just call.  I told her I was hoping Comcast isn’t there!!!  🤞🤞🤞I’m going to call every week this happens until resolution.

We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and provide us with your feedback. We apologize about any inconvenience this may have caused. Most of the channels that we offer are owned by media companies other than Comcast, which means we need to pay those companies in order to bring their channels to our customers. We negotiate contracts with these media companies to obtain the rights to carry their channels, on-demand content, and streaming apps on our platforms.

As a customer for 30+ years and paying $300 a month to not have access to the Ducks opening game due to a dispute with the Big 10 Network is nothing more than corporate greed. It is my understanding only xfinity is punishing their customers by not providing the local sports teams to air. I hope this is resolved soon and customers are put first so I am not forced to you change my internet and streaming services to suit my needs since I'm currently paying a pretty penny anyway.

So disappointed that Xfinity can’t figure out how to get local sports on their lineup. They really must not care if customers leave. Whoever is in charge of this really failed.

Typical Comcast, they charge you more to get the Big 10 Network and then [Edited: "Language"] you over by blacking out games for the 4 new West Coast schools.
I just loaded FUBO TV, it has Big 10 Network and Root Sports and am watching and DVR the Husky game. After 25 years as a Comcast customer, [Edited: "Solicitation"] [Edited: Language]

I cannot believe I will be unable to see the Apple Cup because Comcast has dragged their feet in negotiations with Big 10 Network. First time in 60 years I will miss this game. Time to dump Comcast.

Game was on Peacock, not BTN, so you would’ve been in the clear.
