How much money is Xfinity saving by not having the Pac 12 Network anymore? Why wouldn’t that go to the areas where the new Big Ten schools are located so we can have access (w/o having to pay more) to the Big Ten Network like I’m sure Columbus has for example.
I don’t think any of the Xfinity employees that respond here have any clue what is going on other than to upsell us.
I’ve been a long, long time Xfinity customer but if they don’t step up here and do what is right, this will make me leave as there are better options out there now when if comes to sports.
GRBU2 Pac-12 Network notified Comcast and others that it’s ceased operations on June 30, 2024, in part due to the schools moving to other conferences. This decision is outside of Comcast’s control and was solely made by the Pac-12 Network.

@GRBU2 - remember that 2/3 of the Pac-12 schools are not in the Big Ten. Four are in the Big Ten, four are in the Big 12, two are in the ACC, and the other two, while Pac-12 in name, are de facto independent in football and WCC in basketball.

I'm an Oregon Duck fan. I was able to watch Duck games on the PAC-12 network. It seems fair that Comcast should substitute the BIG-10 network for the PAC-12 network now that Oregon and Washington have changed to the BIG-10.
We should get a refund for having the PAC 12 no longer in business. I have not seen a change in my bill. Yes, The Big 10 network should be swapped out for the defunct PAC 12. Sooner rather than later!
Any update on this? 5 days till kickoff. There are many forum posts but no real answers except pay $10/month for the more sports and entertainment package but if you have the 185+ tier you have almost all the channels except big ten (which we use to have) and nfl red zone.

@user_8s65jw thanks for your feedback about your channel line up. We do often assess what is best for the common good of our family and when plans/channel line up changes due to increased prices from Networks sometimes changes are made. Rather than increasing everyone's monthly rate and due to agreements Networks are moved to different packages. I have big ten network, but you chose to air Michigan State rather than university of Washington on the BTN in eastern Washington. [Edited: "Language"]
We just paid to add the Big 10 Network to our plan. There is a local commercial running here that states that Xfinity is the only provider to not accept the Big 10 expansion offer and will therefore will not be providing all live games that are on the network. The Xfinity guide tonight showed that the Oregon State vs UW soccer game was on - but it wasn’t so this appears to be accurate. This is false advertising - I can’t believe a company is allowed to do this. Go to allbtngames.com and see if you have coverage. We paid and we don’t get it? We will be canceling our account

We do not have the rights, currently, to broadcast games airing on the Big 10 Network for the following teams: University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) University of Oregon (U of O) University of Washington (UW) University of Southern California (USC) We appreciate their understanding. Most of the games for these universities may be available on other channels, networks, or streaming platforms. You can: Say “UCLA football” (or something similar) into their Xfinity Voice Remote, use the C button on the Xfinity Voice Remote to launch the X1 Sports app, or use the on-screen guide to find affected games that may be available on other channels.

what I'd like to know is if we'll ever get an HD version. It’s 2024 and xfinity still broadcasts in SD, which is unwatchable on an HD television.
