No the original question wasn't answered. I don't see any thing on my screens as "Accepted Answer" to mark as I type this.

Using a Comcast DTA and TV, not a smart TV/ ROKU, when we tuned to cnbc (47) or msnbc (76) The screen displayed (approx.)

watch CbN (190) 3 min before can watch MSNBC 76 or CNBC 47

Thanks for letting us know what you’re running into. You shouldn’t have to tune in to CBN first before being able to watch MSNBC or CNBC. That points to either a signal refresh issue or a problem with the cable box software.

A quick step you can try is restarting your TV box—unplug the power for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. If the same thing happens afterward, we can send a signal refresh from our side to clear it up.

If neither of those resolves it, let us know and we can dig deeper into the issue.

Wild guess - someone hacking that non-X1 system, since the same command did not show on the X1 box/TV. But!!!! One could not tune in to 76 or 47 on those systems either, as if the whole account had been affected.

Now I see the accepted answer prompt. No, nothing resolved yet except that we are able to watch the channels now, hoping it doesn't recur.

What I would like to know is whether someone is investigating this kind of interference with our viewing experience, having apparent knowledge of our type of viewership and then diverting away from it.
