An important message about your Xfinity TV service.
On Wednesday, October 4, at 2:20 p.m. EDT, the Federal Communications Commission and Federal Emergency Management Agency will conduct a mandatory, nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS).
During the EAS test, you will not be able to change the channel or watch any programming on your TV. When the test is complete, your services should return as normal. You can visit FEMA.gov for more information on the Emergency Alert System

Why didn’t my phone get the emergency alert? Did Xfinity not allow it to go through our cell phones?
