Amc+ page cannot be loaded

Trying to get to AMC+ content through my subscription I have directly through AMC and every movie or show just says "The page you requested cannot be loaded". I just replaced my X1 DVR box yesterday to see if that would resolve it but still same issue.

HI there, @billp1w. Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community Forum and sorry to hear about the trouble viewing AMC+ on your box. Is this still an issue?

I am also dealing with this issue. I have cleared the box's cache's, did a system reset and signed out of AMC+ on my cable box and signed back into my app and I still get this error code.

Oh no! VintedDove! Did this issue occur for you after swapping out your equipment as well? How are you launching AMC+ to enjoy the contect? Is this issue isolated to one device? We'll get this sorted out!

I am having the same issue. I have tried a system restart. Unplugging. Clearing the cache. Still can’t use my AMC app.

Same problem with AMC+ app. Reset, restarted, signed in a few different times. I get the same “The page you requested cannot be loaded” message. Works fine on my phone, Nikita not through the cable box.

Thank you for the details. Do you have more than 1 TV box? If so, have you tried this on others?

Thank you for that information. What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far for that issue? Have you gone through a reset of that box through your Xfinity app?

@XfinityJohnG I tried restarting the box, and logging out and logging in, clearing the cache twice, and it wont let me uninstall the app, so i cant so that. And it still isn't working

Thank you for clarifying, @F0xtaiis. When you say "clearing the cache", did you mean clearing the locally stored data on your cable box (https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-clear-cookies-and-local-data-storage)? You won't be able to uninstall and reinstall the app, but clearing the locally stored data usually accomplishes the same thing. If you are still having issues after doing this, we may need to refresh your entitlements, so the cable box knows you are subscribed to AMC+. Please let me know.

Same issue here. Nothing has cleared up the issue. Sounds like xfinity is not so subtly saying, sign up for amc+ thru us only. No saving $ by getting a deal thru amc+.

I too have been having this issue. My notes and observations:

- I previously had an amcplus subscription through Comcast, canceled it, and resubscribed recently through amc directly.

- I am seeing the issue on two boxes.
- I contacted amc support and walked though troubleshooting with them, eventually opening a ticket. There’s been no other news from them though.
- I check almost daily on my primary box to see if it’s been resolved. I just started checking on my secondary box last week.

- the amc app works fine on my phone

- the app on the cable box “keeps up” with my activity on my phone app for the most part. It knows what episodes I’ve played in the correct order, and it knows the current position in each episode. Now, I’ve been troubleshooting a lot and rapidly playing and stopping content on phone and cable box, and that seems to have confused the syncing, but that seems reasonable.
- both cable boxes worked “at first” meaning I had a session where I could play content normally. I started getting the error messages on the second session and beyond on each box.

- troubleshooting has included restarting the box, clearing local data, signing in and out on the box and my phone app.

- I’ve had two sessions in the course of these weeks where the app on the primary box did work. I could play content normally with no error messages. I have tried to repeat my steps but cannot reproduce the behavior.

I am happy to troubleshoot further with support.
