How soon before they announce which customers will have it on which tiers? (If it's anything like the Big Ten Network deal, I expect it to be in the 140-channel package in states with ACC schools, and you have to get the More Sports & Entertainment package everywhere else.)

@ThatDonGuy  how does that differ from how the Pac-12 network is distributed, or the Sec Network?

@billmich88888 I don't know - I have More Sports & Entertainment (and live in a Pac-12 state), so I get all of those channels anyway. Since SEC Network is owned by ESPN (as is ACC Network), I suspect it's covered under the same conditions. Pac-12 Network is independent, plus it has six "regional" channels (northern California, southern California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado/Utah); I think you have to live in a region to get that region's channel, although most of the time it just carries what's on the main channel.

I also have the "sports pack" and am in Michigan - BTN is on basic, SEC is on Digital, and Pac 12 is on sports pack.

I also have the BTN alternate in HD (do you guys out there have as an option?) - SEC Alternate came on with HD about 2 years ago, but that was an IPTV channel (doesn't work with cable card devices and all recordings are cloud based and in 2.0, not 5.1) - Pac 12 HD and FS2 HD also came in at the same time with the same restrictions

On my December statement it has the announcement that the ACC Network will be added on December 22nd and in the Seattle area it will be in the Digital Preferred, Preferred+ and Ultimate TV packages.  The announcement does not say that an X1 box will be required to receive the channel.

@seattle4sports

that would indicate that it will NOT be an IPTV channel

Although my December statements said that it would be on December 22nd the ACC Network has been added to the Seattle channel lineup in SD on channel 414 and in HD on channels 641 and 1325.

In Chicago, it's 420 for SD and 1325 for HD. Not sure if it's QAM or IPTV. Unusual for QAM to be 1000+ only.

In Detroit area, it is 748 standard definition and the usual suspect of 1325 for high definition

not IPTV… Which is a little strange in that the next channel up is the Pac-12 network and HD which is IPTV
