We know how annoying those scam calls can be — especially when they try to create urgency with fake “discounts.”
Just so you know, we’ll never call out of the blue asking for personal info or pushing limited-time offers like that. If it doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.
Here’s what you can do:
Don’t share any personal info.
You can report the number through the Xfinity app under Call History > Report Spam if you're using Xfinity Voice.
Consider enabling Nomorobo (free with Xfinity Voice) to help block known robocalls automatically.
If those calls are coming through frequently, we can also walk you through adjusting your spam call settings.
Hey there, @EricaET! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums. Please let us know if you have any other questions/concerns, we are happy to help!

If you have gotten a call claiming to be from Comcast asking you to buy gift cards or paying upfront for six months or more in exchange for 50% off your bill the FTC is well aware of this scam. If you get a call like this you can report it to: https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/
The FTC also has a great webpage on Scams. Please check it out as well.
