Need to add my wife's name to the billing statement

Hi,

I need to add my wife's name to the bills, but I don't see the option to do so on the website. I read somewhere that employees may be able to do that from their end, is that still true? Who can I message?

Thanks

Good evening, @user_65a79b. We typically only have one account holder per account. There are rare cases I come across that show 2. We are not able to change an account holder's name here. Both of you can visit your local Xfinity store with your photo ID. They have a form you can fill out to request that change. For example, the account would show John/Jane or John and Jane for the first name and then Doe for the last name as our systems only have room for 1 account holder.

We are able to update your billing address and the name the bill would be mailed to. That could include both of your names without having them both as the account holder. If you printed a statement or had it mailed it would show both names. We are also able to add your Spouse as a Manager, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/adding-new-user-names-or-email-addresses, which would give them billing permissions on the account.

Were you both needing to be account holders or were you both wanting to have access to the account?

@XfinityRay

From the wording it sounds as though they just want the spouses name showing on the billing statement.  So:

A Doe

B Doe

123 Alphabet Rd

Their City, US 00001

Of course, I may be wrong, but that's what it sounds like.  A lot of customers ask about this.

@Again that's exactly what I want. The account is in my name, but I would like her name to show up alongside mine on the statement.

@XfinityRay that sounds like it would work for me. How would I initiate that process?

@user_65a79b, you would both need to visit your local service center with your photo ID in order to verify in person that you would like her to b added to the account.

For account security, we do require proper identification and permission from both parties as they are also taking on the responsibility of the account by being added in that way.
