Last Billing.
Hello! I do not know who else to talk to so I figured out if some customers or Xfinity Employee help me here when it comes to discontinuing your service. I am not afraid to speak my mind yes, I did switch over because Xfinity does not serve Fiber Internet & I am told will be like 5 years "MAYBE" to have fiber internet. AT&T has Fiber in my area up to 5Gbps up & down + streaming with local channels + better pricing. The problem I am having when I got my last bill the ETF Early Termination Fee that IS NOT LISTED on my last bill. Why is that so important? AT&T When you switch over they will pay the ETF! However, what I find so odd is that the ETF is not listed when I look online I see a ONE-TIME CHARGE. I am told on the phone the $$$ is for the ETF. I told the person on the other phone it does not say ETF it says ONE TIME CHARGE. She could not explain why. I told her on the phone on my last bill the one time charge is not even listed on my bill and again she could not explain why. I said that is not my last bill then so why could I not get my last bill that actually says ETF of $$$? Again she could not say why. Now I am going to be honest here I felt disrespected. I PAID my ETF bill which I never got the bill instead it says ONE TIME CHARGE online. I did not actually get the ETF bill all I got is UP COMING CHARGES OF $$$. I never got the bill instead I had to call up the billing Dept & pay it. Now I have THE RIGHT to get that bill that says ETF & I did not get NO RECEIPT that's says ETF paid all I got is thank for your payment. Now I felt insulted & disrespected that's not right. I PAID my bill I have the right to Receipt that I paid the ETF or to say my actually Billing that I paid the ETF. Thank you

Hello, @user_530297! Thank you so much for reaching out. I'd be more than happy to help clarify. The last bill and the final statement get confusing because the final bill is mailed out to you via UPS and includes the ETF and any outstanding charges. The last bill usually doesn't have any of that stuff unless you cancel services on the last day of your billing cycle. So you usually get 2 bills within the same month depending on the end date of your billing cycle. Nevertheless, the final bill is the most accurate. We bill forward for services since they are billed at fixed rates or set promotions. A statement is generated approximately 2 weeks before the affected period, with the payment being due approximately 2 weeks into the period in question. However, when you cancel services we will prorate the charges to that day as well as include any Early Termination Fees in the final bill.
