Being billed $17.99mo for Netflix EVEN THOUGH I pay for Netflix directly for their service!!!! Anyone else???

Recvd. my bill today and under "Other Service Providers" discovered a charge of $17.99 for Netflix. Thought this was odd since I subscribe and pay Netflix directly. After a lengthy Chat online I was credited but they would not disclose how long this had been going on. I would suggest that everyone check your bill!! Can't believe they have been billing me for a service I already pay for!!!

Hi, @USER_STP. I appreciate your time getting it taken care of and if you still need assistance let us know. The best way to check the account is to see if the account you are being billed separately matches the account on the Netflix X1 app. You can check the email in the app on X1. Netflix has a billing system that does not allow to be billed twice for the same account, but we want to make sure. Anybody can sign up on any TV box if you have X1 and choose to bill to account. Parental controls and purchase pins are great to prevent that.

Do you have X1? It's possible when you went to link it on your box you accidentally started a new subscription through Comcast instead of using the code or login to your existing subscription.

As far as how long it's been going on, you need to review your previous bills. This is why everybody should be looking at their FULL bills EVERY MONTH and not just the bottom-line.

Concern moved here to the proper help section. And for greater exposure to actual Comcast employees for assistance.

Happened to me and had to reach out to relations as they had to credit me almost 300 bucks bc i was getting charged twice from netflix. They keep thinking its me that im pressing the button but i proved to them that i i have separate account with netflix and they credit me back. Bow several months later netflix reappears again and im literally on phone with them and they are crediting back my money.

I had been being billed by both Xfinity and Netflix about a year and a half ago, I called both companies and was told by each that is was the others fault and got no reimbursement from either, was very upset, canceled Netflix and will not subscribe again!
