Closed Caption Issue
Closed Caption is on all the time, as one person in household has a hearing loss. Recently, I noticed that when exiting APP (closed caption is being used), closed caption disappears from TV. This occurs even though display says closed caption is on. If I do a restart, then closed caption returns. Any advice?

i used prime, netflix, and tried to get CC on pluto but didn't succeed there. in each case coming back to live TV captions icon was unchecked. had to press down and navigate to the CC icon OR say 'caption" using voice remote to turn on. may be a technical need to turn it off during use of apps?

I moved your post to the accessability area of the forum. what app were you using? was the CC circle checked but CC just didn't work? how did you turn CC back on that worked for you?

I exited Prime Video to local ABC network. CC had disappeared. (Note: this happens all the time now). Checked settings which showed that CC was ON. Correction: (1) Did a restart and CC appeared on local network. (2) Went to settings --> turned CC OFF --> turned it back ON. CC now appeared. (Another note: when I exited Pandora to local network, CC did not disappear. Everythnig ws fine)

I have seen this issue on my side. It's very annoying to me! I reported this to Comcast customer service and they offered me to swap a cable box last fall. It didn't help and it got worst. I wish it is already solved. Can anyone address this issue?
Thanks
