cable hookup

Hi,

 

We just move and we called Xfinity for the internet service installation. Due to the outbreak, only self-installation is available. However, the technician came last week saying that he cannot help us since the cable is never hooked up in the house. Is there anyway we can do it ourselves or we have to wait until the installation is available again? It;s really hard to stay at home without the internet. Thanks.

Since nobody knows your abilities, hopefully you can. You won’t know until you look outside and see if you have a Comcast coax cable drop at your house. If you don’t have that, you’ll have to wait. If it’s there, find the cable you need for your modem and attach it. Do you even have cable inside your house?
