Update system

My apartment needs there system updated. They sent out an email a month ago stating it would be fixed. This is causing slow internet connection for everyone that lives here. I pay $60 per month for 600 MBPS. I just did a speed test and it read 65 mbps. I can’t enjoy gaming because it lags out every time I play. I have bought a new router/modem, tried using an eathernet cord to resolve the issue and nothing works. Please update the system, this is getting ridiculous.
