This has been happening to our internet connection as well - for a few months. This was a minor nuisance at first, but now it occurs at times when we are busy via the internet with connections to our doctors etc.. - unpredictable. Called Comcast Support and they indicated that they will 'do something' to address this and to log back in in 45 minutes. Wouldn't tell me what they would do, but I still see this disconnection from the internet - I have to login again each time.
We have had uninterrupted internet for years, but this is more than annoying.
I really don't know what the next step would be - except to continue to seek support from Comcast.
