Powerline

Currently using a TP-Link AV1000 Powerline that's connected to my Netgear C7500.

When I plug an ethernet cable directly from my router to my laptop I get 300+ Mbps, but through the powerline adapter that goes to my room I only get ~100 Mbps.  Is it normal to lose that much speed?  Tried different outlet and it's pretty much the same.

It’s possible, you could always work through TP link support to double check

Perhaps a WiFi connection from the C7500 to your room would yield better performance / speed than using powerline ethernet adapters ?
