How long does it take for the internet service to update?

Today I switched from 3 mbps to 600 mpbs Extreme Pro package and I was wondering how long it would take for me to see the changes because I've been told that the change should be immediate. So far on my account I see that I am now under the Extreme Pro package. Any assistance will be great.
