High Ping/Packet Loss/Latency
Hi, this has been happening for months now but I regularly get serious lag spikes. I've done all the usual tests, power cycled the modem. I'm connected to my home network via cat5e cords and I've tested all the cords. I then pinged my router via my desktop and saw that there were not any issues.
I've since connect directly to my cable modem via a cat5e line and pinged google at 10pm PST. Here are my results.
20 packets transmitted, 20 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 14.783/100.547/417.696/113.310 ms
An average of 100.547ms for internet blast pro is unacceptable as is the high of 417.696ms. This is ridiculous.
Doesn't help that I've had a couple of calls dropped on me by comcast "agents" who have never called me back to resolve the issue after they "run diagnostics".

Ping doesn't tell us nearly as much as traceroute would. Please run a trace to www.google.com and post the results. In Windows, the command is
tracert -4 www.google.com
Please also post your modem or gateway's signal information, especially downstream power levels and SNR, upstream power levels, and error log. Connection Troubleshooting Tips may help you.
